The directly driven rotary axes of the TA3 series are excellent suited for the exact positioning of workpieces or, due to the high speeds, also for round machining of workpieces. The direct drive is absolutely backlash-free and ensures highest dynamics. All dividing apparatus are equipped with an automatic, pneumatically actuated clamping system.
Field of applications
Rotation axis for angle positioning of work piece carriers in:
- Processing centers
- CNC - grinding machines
- Tool machines
- Laser processing machines, etc.
Drive
Directly driven with iron-afflicted electronically commutated 3-phase synchronous motor with permanently magnetically excited secondary part.
Bearing
Linked up angular contact ball bearings guarantee a high rigidity and maximum load. A high concentricity is reached by special manufacturing processes.
Measuring system
Dividing apparatus of the TA3 series can be equipped with different measuring systems. The optical measuring systems are connected to the controller via an external interface. The long cable between the interface and the dividing apparatus allows the placement of the interface outside the installation area of the dividing apparatus. The magnetic measuring system is connected directly to the control via the measuring system connector on the dividing apparatus.
